Vanessa is a native New Yorker who has performed nationally and internationally for the past ten years. Her comedy reflects what it's like being a confidently under-confident woman.

She performed at the International Montreal Comedy in '98, '00, '01, and '02

She's had many one woman shows, including Flashback at the Aspen Comedy Festival in 1999.

She has made over 17 TV appearances including performances on NBC, ABC, Comedy Central, USA Network, and Lifetime. She was interviewed on the NBC DATELINE special "Marriage & Commitment." She recently finished shooting on "American Dummy," an independent film due to be released this year.

Though obsessed with clothes, manicures, and facials, Vanessa is a huge supporter of woman's rights. She's currently working on a one-woman show about her experiences while touring the Middle East with the Armed Forces Entertainment.

Wondering what it would feel like to be a woman in that culture, she meandered the streets of Bahrain, Quatar, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. But even fully-covered by a Burka, she stuck out like sore thumb.

Of course, Vanessa adores men--- someone's got to fix the toaster! But she's proud to be a woman. Not only does she joke about Botox and eating disorders, but has had them herself.
