Hadiyah Stand-up Comedian/Actress/Writer

All it took was a talent showcase, a couple of supportive friends, and a few shots of tequila to help Hadiyah realize her true calling. No, not alcoholism; stand-up comedy. Despite being well on her way to becoming a television producer, Hadiyah caught the comedy bug that she just couldnt shake. By the next year she quit her job to begin her journey in stand-up comedy.

Born and raised in Flint, MI, Hadiyah has been naturally funny her entire life entertaining family, friends, and enemies alike. Ignoring such encouraging statements as you are so retarded and you are so stupid, it wasnt until moving to New York, Hadiyah found the courage to bring her style of comedy to the stage seasoned with whit, charisma, and urban know how.

Since beginning her comedy career Hadiyah has performed in such comedy clubs as The Boston Comedy Club, Stand-Up New York, New York Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and The New York Improv. Just one year into comedy, Hadiyah won her first comedy contest at Stand-Up New York where she was awarded $500, a finalist in the Ladies of Laughter Competition in NYC, and was selected to perform in the NBC Stand Up for Diversity Showcase in New York City.
