Jay Nog has been entertaining audiences with his rambunctious stand-up comedy since 2001. He is not known for holding back with his material, taking dead aim on his elementary school students, his parents, and his patient girlfriend. Jay at first appears scruffy and blunt, but audiences quickly discover his soft side and feel at home with his playful sarcasm. A native of Long Island, Jay grew up loving comedy; and though he studied elementary education at SUNY-albany, he began experimenting with comedy writing while working on the campus radio station. He has spent his time since teaching third grade in Brooklyn and taking his hilarious act to the stage by night. His resulting experience with all age groups has given him broad appeal, although at first he found it hard to resist dropping a dirty joke in with his earth science lecture.
