Born under the name Jennifer Zigrino in the suburbs of Minnesota, Jenny knew at a young age that performing was her passion. The youngest child, she craved the spotlight and would do anything to get at it - including smashing the heel of a shoe into her sister's forehead, causing laughter as well as severe bleeding.

At 16, she took a stand-up comedy class and headlined her graduating show. She performed off and on for several years, but after taking a long break, she returned to stand-up in 2008 while living in Boston. Since then she has performed nonstop at clubs and rooms around the Boston area.

She was featured in the Funny Females Showcase at the Boston Comedy Festival and on local television shows such as Boston News Net and the Steve Katsos Show. Her short films have been in festivals such as the Nor'Easter Film and Video Festival and was awarded "Official Selection" for Other Side Shorts Film Festival. She even hosts her own monthly show in her living room and has appeared with excellent Boston Comics such as Joe Wong, MC Mr. Napkins, Sean Sullivan, Robbie Roadsteamer, Lamont Price, Ken Reid, Erin Judge, and Myq Kaplan. She took 1st place in the Catch a New Rising Star Competition and is honored to be April 2010's Comic in Residence at the famed Comedy Studio in Cambridge, MA.
