The She-Devil Comedy Festival seeks to honor and reward the artists that most personify The Art of Comedy, while celebrating and helping further the long tradition of women in comedy.

The festival is an off-shoot of the popular Laughing Skull and Laughing Devil Festivals, and is organized and administered by Steve Hofstetter, Tracie Jayne, Jacob Morvay, Ben Rosenfeld, and a cast of very appreciated and beloved volunteers.

The She-Devil Comedy Festival features a 30-comedian first round followed by four quarter-final shows, two semi-final shows, and one final show. Comedy industry from all over the US and Canada will participate to help find, expose, and give work to some of today's top emerging comedians.

In the first round, 30 compete (performing 2 minutes each) and just 8 move on to join the 40 already selected for the quarter-finals.

48 comedians compete in the quarter-finals. 4 shows of 12 comedians per show, each performing 5 minutes. 4 from each show move on.

8 comedians compete in the semi-finals, and 8 compete in the wild card. Each comedian performs 8 minutes. 4 move on from the semi-finals and 3 move on from the wild card.

The finals pits the final 7 comedians against each other performing 10 minutes each.

Winners receive cash, prizes, and work from comedy clubs, agents, and partner festivals. The festival also has great events like our roof party and private art gallery event.

A portion of all proceeds go to support FORCE, a wonderful organization that educates and supports women on issues relating to BRCA, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer.
