Some Wednesdays from 10PM til midnight, we'll be hanging at the Laughing Devil. Just some comedians and guests hanging out, no occasion. We'll have a crazy drink special each week, like $1 Bud drafts or $2 Blue Moon Seasonal. Tell your friends or just show up yourself - it's just an informal hang that we host at the club.

The Big Thing

Wednesdays at 8PM, join us as the best of the New York area (and beyond) showcase to see who will be the next Big Thing. Bringing their A-Game to show off for the audience and the club's bookers, The Big Thing's comedians are all great pros on the rise who have been vetted by the club. If anyone kills on The Big Thing, they earn the coveted position of "club regular" - and you'll see them again soon.

The show also features some special guest headliners, and is a wonderful night of comedy.

Happy Hour Open Mic

Wednesdays at 6PM, 15 comedians perform for 5 minutes each. How do we pick them? The first 30 to show up are put in a bucket. And then 15 are chosen to show their stuff. It's a place to work on new material or audition for our Big Thing show.

Meanwhile all drinks are half price. So come perform or come hang. Either way, we'll see you there. It's free to perform and free to attend.

MicShop: Open-Mic Workshop
Every Sunday at 6PM, one (or more) of our club pros hosts a performance/workshop where the first 15 people who sign up each get 5 minutes to perform and get group and professional feedback. It's an incredibly low-pressure and positive environment. It can be your first time, you can be an absolute crazy person, or you can be a seasoned pro working on something - we'd love to have you.

Laughing Devil Development Stage
Every Thursday, we're also producing shows at the Bread Box Cafe (4711 11th St.). It's free to perform or attend.
1) Signup starts at 5PM, which coincides with a writer's room from 5-6. So while you wait, there's a free writer's workshop.
2) The first show is at 6PM and last 90 minutes. It consists of 10 open mic spots and 5 pro spots (and the host). The first 10 to sign up get the 5 minute spots.
3) In between the first and second show (7:30-8PM) there is another writer's room.
4) The second show has 4 minute spots, starts at 8PM and lasts as long as we want.
-Those who didn't get a spot on the 6PM show get the first chuck of spots on the 8PM show.
-Those who got spots on the 6PM show then get spots after them.
-Anyone who arrived after 7:30 PM goes on after them.
-There will also be a few pros sprinkled in.
5) One comic "wins" each week, and is invited back for a guest spot on the following week's mic.

College Night - Thursdays
Thursdays, college students get $3 tickets. Just present a college ID at the door for your discounted admission.

Note: college discounts do not apply to special events.

Soldier Sundays
Present a military or government ID at the door on Sundays and get in for free. This only for walk-ins and can not be used with advanced purchase tickets, so make sure to come early.
